General donation

Donors may choose to make a general donation which will be directed to the Endowment Fund.

The Endowment Fund holds these funds in an investment account in perpetuity. Interest and dividends earned from the corpus (less CPI) are distributed back to the organisation each year.

The Foundation began with a corpus of $1million. Since then its growth has been supported by gifts from donors and a sound investment policy and the leadership of the Board of Directors and senior management.
